TRENT Campus
The Trent Campus located on St. Mary's Drive is home to our Year 9, 10 and 11 students. The site provides an excellent opportunities for students in their final year of KS3 and then for their two years of studying their GCSEs.
Within each year group students are taught in mixed ability groups across all subjects, apart from Mathematics, English and Science where students are taught mixed ability with a foundation or higher tier banding.
We offer a phenomenal enrichment programme that compliments our curriculum offer for all subject areas and is able to take advantage of our extensive facilities in Sport and the Arts. Our learning centre and hub also provide a fantastic learning environment for both independent study and targeted intervention work. In addition to the enrichment programme, we also offer a large range of ELOs (Extended Learning Opportunities). These are additional academic sessions targeting students for additional tuition to support their learning. Homework club also run before the academy day, during lunchtime and after academy hours 5 days a week.
We also have an extensive Support and Guidance (S&G) team who have no teaching commitments, meaning they are available all day everyday to provide support in all aspects of pastoral care to our students (mentoring, safeguarding, SEND, medical support, attendance, behaviour management, emotional well being).
