If you still have any issues, please email us at:
Catering & Student ID Cards
Our catering is provided by Aspens (see Quick Link for menus).
Each student receives:
-
A coloured lanyard showing their Year group and band.
-
A card holder and a proximity ID card with their name and photo.
The lanyard and card are part of the Academy uniform and must be worn at all times.
Using the card:
-
Cards are used to pay for dining room purchases.
-
Top up via ParentPay (updates instantly) or at pay stations on both sites.
-
Lost/damaged replacements: £3 for a card, £1 for a lanyard.
-
Cards can be blocked immediately if lost, with any remaining balance transferred.
Benefits of cashless catering:
-
Daily limit of £5 for Years 7–11 (no limit for Years 12–13).
-
Safer than cash – lost card funds are protected.
-
Ensures lunch money is spent in the dining room.
-
View balances and purchase history online.
Free Breakfast
All students are welcome to collect a free ‘grab and go’ bagel before school every day.
This is available from the dining area each morning and is a great way to start the day with a healthy breakfast.
Free School Meals (FSM)
If eligible, please apply – the Academy receives extra funding for every student on FSM.
FSM allowance:
-
£2.65 per day at lunchtime (covers meal deal).
-
Extra £1 per day for breakfast/break.
-
Works exactly like other students’ cards, so entitlement is discreet.
-
Additional personal funds can be added to an “Own Purse” balance.
