Welcome to The de Ferrers Academy. We are delighted that you have chosen for your child to join us. We believe our academy offers a superb learning environment for our students from 11-18 years. We have a broad, inclusive and ambitious curriculum allowing students to thrive in a safe and stimulating environment. 

We are very proud of the relentlessly high expectations and are unapologetic for this. We want all students and parents/carers to share the high expectatins that we have across our academy that underpin our success. Our staff are committed to delivering the highest quality education, whilst our extensive pastoral support enables students to nurture their talents and helps them to achieve their full potential.

After being at de Ferrers for 22 years it really is a true honour to lead this academy. I am passionate about ensuring the students and staff enjoy coming to our academy and for us all to work together to be a highly effective team, striving to be the very best we can be. This can only be achieved if we support one another and treat each other with kindness and respect.

I want us all to be proud to be a part of the de Ferrers community and be proud to celebrate our wide and varied achievements. We hope you find our academy warm and welcoming.
