DOVE Campus
The Dove Campus located on Harehedge Lane is home to our 820 Year 7 and 8 students. The site provides an ideal place for students to start their journey through secondary education with facilities, systems and a curriculum designed to meet the needs of all learners.
Within each year group students are taught in mixed ability groups across all subjects, with our broad and balanced curriculum offer providing a challenging and stimulating experience at the start of Key Stage 3. All students study:
- 3 hours week of: English, Maths and Science
- 2 hours a week of French, Design & Technology, Physical Education, Values (PSHE & Citizenship) and ICT
- 1 hour a week of Geography, History, Religious Studies, Art, Music and Drama
We offer a phenomenal enrichment programme that compliments our curriculum offer for all subject areas and is able to take advantage of our extensive facilities in Sport and the Arts. Our learning centre and hub also provide a fantastic learning environment for both independent study and targeted intervention work.
We also have an extensive Support and Guidance (S&G) team who have no teaching commitments, meaning they are available all day everyday to provide support in all aspects of pastoral care to our students (mentoring, safeguarding, SEND, medical support, attendance, behaviour management, emotional well being).
